Ek Jeevan Hamari Prerana is registered as Charitable Trust in 2017, to provide services and assistance to the people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, differently abled, trafficking survivors, poor widows, aged men/women and orphan children with the specific objective of creating employment using social entrepreneurship models. The Trust exclusively support poor women from different backgrounds like infected and affected by HIV, widows, single parents, lower income women, mothers of special children to improve their life through skill building trainings and livelihood opportunities. For last 6 years, 350 women (60% are infected and affected by HIV) are benefited through various activities.
At present 125 women from the slums and urban migrants in the North West and North East Delhi are actively engaged with .
Our mission is to provide services and assistance to support people in rural and urban areas for improving their lives, in the areas social support, fundamental rights, psychological, economic, education, employment, health, nutrition, disability, gender, environment, water and sanitation, good governance.
1. To work towards the empowerment of poor people especially women.
2. To provide skill development for better employment and livelihood
3. To provide centre based and home based trainings on handicrafts and artefacts for
livelihood opportunities.
4. To provide awareness on health, nutrition, hygiene, water and sanitation, youth issues and environmental issues.
5. To establish and run counselling centers to provide psycho –social support
6. To provide medical assistance to helpless and needy people who are suffering with life threatening diseases
7. To provide health and nutrition support
8. To establish a referral services in health, education, vocational trainings and employment
9. To organise Support group meetings and form Self Help Groups
10. To establish and run homes/residential facilities for children and adults who orphan and vulnerable, destitute, aged, sick or from poor/lower income families.
11. To establish and run a skill development center for education and trainings
12. To establish and run schools/training centers for poor children and women
