Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024
Commemoration of Menstrual Health Day was organized on 26th May 2024 at Dilli Haat INA, Delhi. The event is specially focused to improve menstrual hygiene management (MHM) among girls and young women and also involving boys and young men to stop bullying instead support girls and young women.
The Chief Guests of the program was Sh Ajay Kumar Gupta, IAS, District Magistrate, South East Delhi and Dr Shweta Rawat, Scientist “F” Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Govt. of India
The event was a vibrant explosion of creativity and empowerment! Role plays, street plays, dances, songs, and musical dramas took center stage, but the real showstopper was the fashion show. The girls confidently strutted their stuff, proudly declaring that menstruation is a natural part of life and doesn’t define their worth or beauty. The crowd went wild! And as a special treat, everyone went home with cool T-shirts, bags, and menstrual hygiene products. But the biggest hit was the menstrual panties and buckets – game-changers for the girls, allowing them to manage their periods with dignity and ease.
