Asia Regional Training in Bali, Indonesia
One of our Girls Act leaders had the chance to attend the Asia Regional Training in Bali in August 2025, and we’re beaming with pride. Not only did she represent our team, but she also got to meet girls from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal and Thailand, broadening her horizons and building connections.
The session focused on leadership and advocacy for Menstrual Dignity and SRHR, and our leader soaked up every bit of it. It was a fantastic opportunity for her to engage with other members, build her skills, and contribute to discussions on these vital topics. And guess what? She proved that language is no barrier when it comes to showcasing skills and passion!
What struck her was that taboos around menstruation are similar across countries – a universal challenge that needs collective action. It highlighted the need to spread awareness and break the stigma surrounding menstruation, everywhere. We’re so proud of our leader for representing us and inspiring others to do the same!
